A bunch of Cricketers who played at WEPL and PREM 1 level, having a serious passion for cricket one day decided to change how cricket is played (specially batting) in Wiltshire and Somerset region by designing right equipment for modern cricket at an affordable price using traditional techniques and values – this is how THE AB SPORTS was formed. Since then the company has gone from strength to strength.
Our aim is to be the Challenger Cricket Brand by delivering the best performing bats and other equipment to the market. Our carefully designed bats have been a huge success for many years in England, Australia, South Africa and India. We have many international players using our bat but we cannot advertise it due to their sponsorship commitment.

Every Custom bat that you order with us, is individually handmade by our speciallist team using the highest grades of hand selected English willow. Every custom bat is created to your exact specification and we work with you to try and create your perfect bat. When ordering online you can select the weight, size, handle style, grip, toe guard and even shape that suits you. Tell us any additional requirements and we will do our best to make you the bat you have been searching for.

We always try to displays actual photos of equipment on our website, so you can see what you are buying. However sometime when the branded (SS/SG/Spartan/New Balance etc.) equipment is not available in the stock, we use their advertiselment pictures (provided by those brands) on our website. Having said that, we at AB Sports appreciate that it is very difficult to purchase accurately from the internet so before you order a bat, we will personally select few bats from our stock that meets your specs and will send you the photos of the bats we have selected, to ensure you are happy. We have been doing this for many years and that’s why we have so many repeat customers.
